Continuously
variable proportional circle map is a map in which point data is mapped with a
circle instead of a dot. The size of the circle is directly related to the
measured variable and not the area over which it is measured. There is no limit
on the number or sizes of circles used because they are continuously graded
along with the variable. The image above is an example of this. As the size of
the measured variable increases, the size of the circle will increase in direct
proportion to the variable.
